Americans are satisfied with treatment, but distrust physicians

Though Americans distrust medical professionals, they are overwhelmingly satisfied with the treatments that they receive. A New England Journal of Medicine study published this month found that while the United States ranks near the bottom of the list of 29 countries for trust in medical professionals, it ranks near the top in regard to overall satisfaction with treatments. Vermont's SASH program funding extended

Federal funding for a pilot program that supports Vermont's Blueprint for Health will be extended. Blueprint's Support and Services at Home program brings nurses, social workers and therapists into seniors' homes to help them live more healthy and self-reliant lives, the VTDigger explained. The SASH program is backed by $700 per person, per year payments from Blueprint....
