It would seem that every day a new innovation in technology provides even more opportunities to therapy professionals. We have recently been approached by a top level client of ours for Telemedicine professionals to begin working in the next 2-3 weeks! This is a cutting edge project and a new level of rehab that is predicted to be a wave of the future.
You will be working in the state of Florida and conducting virtual visits with patients in the field. Software will be installed at the homes of your patient caseload and your “visits” will consist of web-cam events. There will be a small amount of travel to individuals’ homes. At the onset of the program, 30% of your time will be spent evaluating patients virtually and 70% will be in the field. You will be provided with a vehicle, so no wear and tear on your own vehicle is expected. Throughout the year, as you transition your caseload, your percentages will reverse and 70% will be virtual, 30% in the field.
We are asking for a 1 year commitment. The ideal candidate for this position will be interested predominantly in the growth and development opportunities that exist for you as a therapist. We have positions for Physical, Recreational and Occupational Therapists. The compensation package will consist of a taxable hourly wage, paid housing or housing stipend and benefits if needed.
