PTA Alexis' First Year Impressions of Reflectx

I am a traveling Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with Reflectx Staffing and let me tell you how impressed I am with the professionalism of their team! They went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met on each of my assignments without hesitation. My recruiter Kate Brown's sense of dedication to Reflectx Staffing and to my personal well being shows, and is a reflection on, the success of my assignments. I have been traveling for over a year now and could not imagine doing anything else at this time. I have experienced several wonderful opportunities and benefits on my travels.

1. A new perspective on the field of physical therapy

      - traveling has opened the door to endless opportunities to work in all types of settings in PT

2. Personal and professional growth

     - as a PTA I have had the opportunity to meet and work with a vast variety of Physical Therapist and consistently learn new techniques which keeps what I do from day to day fresh and exciting.

My recruiter Kate has also been much more than a recruiter. She has played a big role in assisting me to be better and effective communicator and has helped me problem solve sticky situation if they arise during any assignment.

3. Competitive wages/benefits/ bonuses

    - being only a few years out of college, together my husband and I have 4 degrees we have proudly earned although we have hefty student loans to payoff. As a contracted traveler I have seen great financial gains that have allowed us to make these payoffs much easier. Having housing taken care of for us or the ability to claim a housing and meal stipends as been most beneficial.

4. Housing

    - I have been thoroughly impressed with the housing Reflectx has placed me in. They are great at giving me a list of options close in proximity to my assignments and allow me to pick the best fit for my husband and I.

5. Job stability

  - I never realized the shortage of therapists in all settings we have in certain states of the country. With the harsh economy at this time I have seen the stability in work my husband and I need.

The sky is truly the limits and I would highly recommend Reflectx Staffing to other therapists looking to enter the field of traveling.

Good luck in your endeavors!
